Maintained accountability for a full Battalion Table of Allowance (TOA) of over $5M. Provided monthly financial reports to the Battalion Commanding Officer and Regimental Supply Office. Provided logistical support for 5 DFTs (Deployments for Training) and 2 offsite detachments.

Oversight of all official unit correspondence, preparation of the monthly unit training schedule, preparation and submission of all unit evaluations and fitness reports and oversight of the unit physical readiness program. Annual training tours were performed at the NAVICP, and included flowcharting the provisioning process at the command. The end product was used by the NAVICP as a basis for streamlining the provisioning process and for contracting a civilian software engineer to design a software package to automate the provisioning process.

Training officer for a 35 member unit attached to the FISC Norfolk, which manages procurement, distribution and return of materials for all ships homeported on the east coast. Responsible for arranging training for unit enlisted members, coordinating support for the unit's gaining command and other local DoD elements and for ensuring enlisted members were prepared for advancement exams. Prepared monthly reports of training and future training plans to the unit Commanding Officer and the reserve center Commanding Officer. Managed 3 Chief Petty Officers and approximately 20 junior enlisted personnel attached to the training department.

Ensured quality of government contractors' work using methods of statistical process control. Major contractor was Erie Forge and Steel, responsible for fabrication of propeller shafts for all naval combatant ships and submarines. Oversight of both destructive and nondestructive testing of materials including stress testing, x-ray scanning and magnetic testing of final product.

Primary duty was as division officer for disbursing and ships services with a total of 10 enlisted personnel in those divisions. Maintained pay records for a crew of 225 enlisted personnel and officers, conducted payday, processed travel claims, managed the ships store, laundry and barber facilities. Maintained accountability for over $500,000 in cash in the disbursing officer's safe, and over $50,000 worth of merchandise for the ships store.
