Commercial management of large civil Engineering and Building Projects throughout Ireland and has held positions as a Commercial Director, Commercial Manager, Senior Quantity Surveyor and Sub-Contracts Manager with Clients, Private Practice QS, Contractors and Sub-Contractor including involvement in Joint Ventures with contractors from Spain, Portugal and Poland. Experience across all sectors of the Building and Civil Engineering branches of the Construction Industry, working on Contractor Design and Build projects and on Client Design Projects responsible for commercial, contractual and dispute resolution across a wide range of projects including heavy Civil Engineering Works such as Motorways / Road-Works and Infrastructure Works of all types. These Projects contained substantial elements of bulk earthworks, piling, large-diameter drainage, RC Structural Works such as Culverts, Inter-Changes, Bridges, Flexible Pavement Construction, Reinforced Earth Structures, and varied from Heavy Civils to Building Works including Retail, Residential and Pharmaceutical projects all of which contained major packages of mechanical and electrical works.
