Responsible a team of two Configuration Managers, three Configuration Controllers and three Documentation Officers. I report to the UK Group Leader on all matters relating to Configuration in the Stevenage department. I am also responsible for the day to day running of Configuration and Data Management for the eight projects within Earth, Navigation and Science at Stevenage. I report back to Management and Customer the Change and RFD/W status on a regular bases or when requested. I am also responsible for process improvements, team meeting, interviewing for new staff, work package managements and yearly appraisals. I am currently involved with the introduction of a New PDM/PLM Tool (WindChill) throughout all European sites including developing and writing procedures and training.

Responsible for the control of internal and external documents including classified documents. Leading a team of 5 configuration controllers. Administrating REGIS, SAROS, FileNET Panagon and SPRINT (Electronic Document Management Systems). Maintenance of the quality records department. Auditing manufacturing quality records. Controlling all UK / NATO Secret media entering the company and auditing the custodians of any such media. Compiling and controlling End Item Data Packs to be delivered with the hardware. Reporting to the Managing Director. Responsible for the Quality Department, first off and final inspection. Introducing ISO 9001, EN46001 and Directive 93/42/EEC to display the CE mark on our devices. Ensuring audits and tool calibrations are kept up to date. Dealing with any customer feedback and corrective actions as required

Assisting in setting up a new Quality Control Department in accordance with BS 5750 and AQAP 1. Responsible for first off and final inspection of sheet metal and machined parts. Conversant with heat treatments of aluminium and steels, assisting in approval of operators, raising and vetting certificate of conformities for various companies

Responsibilities involved working in the goods receiving department and shop floor inspection to the final inspection of the BAe 146 aircraft. Duties included the checking of all mechanical and upholstery fittings, together with the rigging and functions of all flying controls before first flight

As a relief manager in several public houses, duties included the keeping of beers spirits and food stocks. Accounting, bookkeeping and payroll, staff supervising and the organising of social events

Working to written schedules, verbal instructions and engineering drawings, responsibilities included the building and setting up of assembly jigs. During this period I was selected to work in French Guyana, South America, Building and testing the Ariane Space Rocket launch platform
