As a formative experience early in his career, Michael reported directly to the CEO and Board of Sotheby’s in the role of acting COO of Sotheby’s International Realty, restructuring the previously unprofitable Real Estate business model into the successful operation that was critical to the valuation of Sotheby’s highly successful IPO.
