In my role as Shipping and Receiving Supervisor at Beam Suntory, I leverage expertise and robust experience in the business process, warehouse operating systems, and import and export processes; I prepare reports, ensure strict compliance with State and Federal laws and operational regulations, recommend changes, monitor performance efficiency, and maintain service excellence in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, I schedule and organize all outbound loads, including setting up delivery appointments, taking phone calls, collecting purchase orders, invoicing, generating BOLs for drivers, and keeping an accurate inventory of shipping/receiving. I also perform supervisory responsibilities by leading warehouse associates, crafting inventory reports, monitoring work efficiency, conducting training initiatives, process improvement implementation, and promoting safety procedures to expedite onboarding. Consequently, I collaborate with the executive management and team leaders to strengthen professional relationships, create business decisions, prepare warehouse and team goals, and evaluate business performance.I am also primarily responsible for monitoring the warehouse’s inventory level by conducting regular audits and inspections to ensure accuracy, resolve inventory inconsistencies, and guarantee that there are adequate product stocks to meet the demands of the buyers. In this capacity, I identify potential points of workflow friction and, find solutions, conduct complex functions, including receiving, processing, organizing, and reconciling incoming stocks in the warehouse to maximize efficiency. I lead, mentor, and supervise a team with over 39 members while fostering professional development by advancing training initiatives, coaching, mentoring, and evaluating team performance to identify areas of improvement and boost overall efficiency.

In this role, I performed duties integral to moving stocks by operating lifting equipment such as pallet jacks, slip trucks, squeeze forks and forklifts, gathering materials, loading and unloading products to deliver quality products to the customers, identifying damages, reporting quality deficiencies, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. As such, I ensured strict compliance to safety policies and regulations in operating equipment; troubleshot, repaired, and performed regular preventive and corrective equipment maintenance to maximize productivity and maintain a safe work environment.Part of my duties is managing product inventory, tracking progress through the facility, recording production data using RF and WM scanning equipment, consistently completing inventory cycle count, and recording and reporting all data to senior management for review.
