-Developing layouts and preliminary designs of conveyor systems and custom machinery. - Communicates and reviews product designs and specifications with UMD Account Manager and/or customer throughout the entire process-Traveling to client sites and working with clients to develop a solutions to process and material handling problems and taking field measurements. -Prepares system layout or equipment approval drawings to be sent to the customer and general arrangements / sales drawings for estimating purposes using AutoCAD or equivalent software-Estimating by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.-Quoting small to large projects and following threw with project management from Estimating, manufacturing, shipment to Installation.-Effective time management to estimate and meet project’s schedule. This may include working weekends and/or holidays.-Analyzing current market and working with upper management to develop marketing strategies. -Manage, support, and delegate as necessary to meet project demands -Managing manuals department, ensuring all projects are followed up with proper documentation and information. -Work in a fast-paced environment as well as manage changing priorities

Communicates and reviews product designs and specifications with Project Engineer and/or Account Manager through the entire process.  Includes understanding:  the scope of work, budgets, schedules, problem resolutions, change orders, obtaining approvals, etc.  Provides support to estimating, purchasing, production and installation regarding project specifications and procedures. Prepares system layout or equipment approval drawings to be sent to the customer and general arrangements / sales drawings for estimating purposes using AutoCAD or equivalent software Inspects customer site to gather information pertaining to the  project Computes mathematical formulas, analyzes technology and resource needs to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery Prepares mechanical drawings, material list, written requisitions for all components, and releases job packages as scheduled and/or needed   Inspects equipment throughout production and installation to ensure quality and accuracy of design Prepares equipment list to be shipped with completed product and provide service manual Ability to provide supervision of installations as needed
