Currently oversee all aspects of environmental compliance by construction contractors in five contracts for the largest capital construction project in NYC (East Side Access) funded by Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). This project encompasses excavation and construction work to create access for Long Island Railroad’s Main and Port Washington Lines into Grand Central Terminal. Conduct regular site inspections and review contractors’ environmental submittals for environmental compliance, chemical sampling and analysis, abatement, spill prevention and control measures plans, and contractor noise/vibration control plans. Respond to spills on site and manage contractors to ensure adherence to proper cleanup procedures. Oversee inspection of diesel equipment fleets for all East Side Access contracts, working closely with contractors to ensure engines and best available retrofit technology (BART) for exhaust filtration conform to MTA requirements and New York State Codes of Rules and Regulations for particulate matter and NO2.

Conducted Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Environmental Audits for various public and private clients. Co-managed a contract for, and provided oversight of a team of field technicians for, lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments of a large portfolio of multi-family buildings for the City of New York.
