Approving all hiring/firing of key management level positions, approving all contracts in excess of a set amount, annual casino budget review and approval.Snoqualmie Indian TribeFederal Affairs Working Group- FocalJun 2018 - May 2020 (2 years)• Worked to fight for important legislation around sacred sites, reaffirmation of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), Savannah's act, fairness for tribes around the Land into Trust process, religious freedoms reform to protect sacred American Indian sites, hydropower bills, Cares act amendments that included 8 billion dollars in assistance to tribes effected by the Covid-19 pandemic.Snoqualmie Casino Expansion Working Group-FocalJun 2017 - May 2020 (3 years)• A group created by Tribal Council to further the progress of constructing the preliminarily approved expansion for the Snoqualmie Casino.• During my time as Focal of the working group we were able to conduct an updated feasibility study, conduct a private national search for a new architect firm to lead the design team, and hire a competent owners' representative to assist the working group and architectural firm uphold the interests of the Snoqualmie Tribal Council.Investment committee ChairMar 2017 - May 2020 (3 years, 3 months)The Investment committee was created to comply with council direction in regards to revitalizing the tribe's investment portfolio.• Subsequently more than quadrupling a once modest investment portfolio with low risk highly rated bonds and stocks in just 2 years.
