• Responsible for supporting and overseeing Franchises in the development of new processes, manual controls and identifying and closing risks and issues in relation to Transaction Monitoring.• Proactively identify emerging risks for Transaction Monitoring, Payment Filtering and Screening covering Fines, Censure, and 4AMLD through my role in upstream risk.• Responsible for interpreting Regulatory changes and emerging risks, identifying control gaps and opportunities to improve the Transaction Monitoring System.• SME oversight of franchise Manual Processes for raising suspicious activity ensuring their adequacy and effectiveness.• Support Franchises, AML Investigations and FCIIU on risk mitigation through Transaction Monitoring, support improvements to operation effectiveness.• Conduct TM Risk Assessments, including identifying Inherent Risks, Mapping controls, reporting on residual risks and building a remediation plan.• Support the delivery of the bank wide Financial Crime Risk Assessment.

Test and review the processes undertaken by the UK Retail, AML & Sanctions team in order to maintain robust and consistent policy and regulatory standards.
