Field Based

• Provide full project management support to Supply Chain workstreams on time, within agreed commercial cost targets, whilst introducing continuous improvements to the logistics network• Lead and execute dual location and route to market planning and support projects ensuring £8,000,000 forecasted savings are delivered across 2012 and 2103• Provide regular support and training programmes to all DHL and B&Q employees throughout project lifecycles, from initial implementation to completed rollout• Identify problems and action improvements to the logistics network in areas of planning and stock integrity• Responsible for a number of key vendors ensuring a smooth and efficient working relationship within B&Q through planning development• Management of all internal stock movements planned with transport teams and completed effectively and on time• Provided project support during closure of Distribution Centre in Leeds ensuring robust plans / process in place to deliver a smooth transitional phase during a demanding part of year for B&Q • All logistics projects to be delivered with credibility ensuring no impacts to stock input to stores

Dunstable

• Supported the Project Management Team for the warehouse move from Maidenhead to Dunstable. Completed without disruption to the business in April 2009• Manage warehouse budget • To develop and implement strategies to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the warehouse• Performance and task management of a team of 15 permanent staff • Management of daily pick volumes • Management of daily delivery schedules of up to 180 stores per day• Control the dispatch of stock volumes up to and in excess of 250 European Pallets / 10,000 containers per day• Accountability for and measurement against agreed warehouse SLA's and KPI's • Consistent achievement of warehouse objectives including:• Overall responsibility within The Perfume Shop for implementation of a new voice picking system• Staff development and coaching• Management of physical inventory and cycle counting• Responsibility for adherence to Health & Safety policies for all warehouse staff• Key liaison with internal customers and external transport companies• Ensuring security arrangements are adequate and security procedures are carried out correctly• Review and improve all warehouse procedures to ensure best practice• Ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained
