Water Resources Engineer
Multi-disciplinary water resources engineer, specializing in multi-modal transportation, green infrastructure, and environmental quality.Transportation Planning & Design: Interdisciplinary engineer specialized in complete streets, drainage design, and sustainable landscaping. Experience includes urban and rural corridor design, multi-modal planning and design, BRT and LRT, and regional trails. Quality control lead for plans, reports, permits, etc.Development: Assistant project manager and design lead for transit-oriented developments. Civil or drainage lead for healthcare development projects, industrial developments, and regional transportation facilities.H&H Modeling: HydroCAD, GeoPAK Drainage, HEC-RAS, XP-SWMM, Flowmaster, and other software to analyze peak flow rates, runoff volumes, & inform BMP sizing.Water Quality Modeling: MIDS Calculator, WinSLAMM, P8, SHSAM, HSPF, BATHTUB to determine pollutant loading & to estimate pollutant fate/transport.SWPPP: Experience with Construction, Municipal, and Industrial SWPPPs, including the development of templates tailored to specific federal, state, and local regulatory/design requirements.SPCC Plans: Project manager and lead designer for construction and operation phases of municipal, industrial, and renewable energy projects.Construction Inspection, including SWPPP inspections, Erosion Control Specialist roles, and Environmental Compliance Management support for MnDOT, local governments, and utilities.ArGIS: ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcToolbox proficiency, using tools to organize information, perform calculations, and produce professional quality maps and report figures.Proficient technical writer and public speaker. Experience developing and delivering presentations, leading workshops, teaching, and training.
