I am originally from Shepparton, Victoria and moved to Waurn Ponds in 2022 to begin my undergraduate studies in the Bacheler of Forensic Science at Deakin University and have chosen to major in both the forensic biology and forensic chemistry field. I have always had a strong interest in science and this interest motivated me to pursue studies in biology and chemistry all through high school and now in my forensic studies. My focus on science stems from the mindset I had of always wanting to know the reason things happen and how everything happens in our daily lives.The years I've spent in retail have built a strong set of skills that are valuable within the professional environment. Working within heavily team focused workplaces has provided me with important team management, teamwork and strong communication skills as well as the ability to overcome a range of problems and be able to adapt to all new situations.Through my studies, I am striving to gain well developed discipline-specific skills in the forensic science field that will provide me with the knowledge to play an active role within the field.
