I have spent over a decade in education working for the cause of educational equity. After graduating from Boston University, I joined the 2008 Teach for America Baltimore Corps. I taught in Math in the Baltimore City Public Schools for 6 years, during which time I worked to expand my impact on in the fight to close the achievement gap - I earned my masters from Johns Hopkins University, helped elect a teacher to the Maryland State Senate, and trained new teachers at Teach for America's summer institute and as part of John's Hopkins masters program. Since leaving Baltimore I have been responsible for leading over 100,000 students in over 500 schools across 5 countries to substantial growth in math as the Curriculum Director for Global Mathematics at Bridge International Academies.
