ACAP and the Loan Source originated facilitated forgiveness and new applications related to Paycheck Protection Loans given out to small businesses that were affected by COVID-19 Pandemic through the US Federal Government. As a Loan Verification Specialist my main role was to review applications sent in. I was to ensure applications were filled out accurately and completely. If not, I would contact the business owner to have them complete the application. Additionally, once applications were reviewed by underwriter, I would communicate if there were any loan amount variances. As a team lead, I would communicate to my team members on updated to internal company processes and recent news related to PPP. I would field and answer team members questions and assist on difficult applications.
