Provided vital support to our Hospitality Point-Of-Sale (POS) sales teams for all US District offices. Developed and supported a custom Excel/VBA sales workbook application used for quoting and selling Hospitality Food & Beverage POS System configurations, which also included an import interface to our Oracle Order Entry system to help expedite the ordering process. My support for this application spanned approx. 10 years, including the debugging and resolution of various technical compatibility issues as a result of 4 major Microsoft OS updates and 5 Office/Excel software versions, and a seemingly endless stream of security updates and patches. This position required a great attention to detail to help the company process orders quickly and efficiently. Other responsibilities included the tracking and updating of sales and customer records at our local district level, and working closely with other departments responsible for fulfilling orders or providing service to our customers. Efficiently contributed to quality customer service to help the sales team meet its target goals. Maintained vital information on sales by product line and territory used by management for preparing reports and monitoring sales performance.
