Managing engineering and contributing solutions for a new Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) BI product is my primary contribution and responsibility. Additionally, I manage production operations, relationships, and engineering for a healthcare clearinghouse service.My overall contributions include the following:• Alignment with corporate and external department initiatives and expectations.• Grooming and planning with product management.• Overseeing release plans and an engineering team.

I contributed simultaneously to the execution of a corporate integration project and the buildout of a new product. My strong integration project contributions were the following:• Addressing third party relationships.• Production Operations management.• Resource alignment.• Problem solving. My contributions to the product build were in the following:• Architecture.• UX.• Data store design. • Third party licensing and relationships.

Resulting in newly formed strategic relationships and our acquisition, I led efforts to conceptualize service maturation, scalability, and innovation.My most significant contributions included the following:• Design, refinement, and stewardship of a Product Stakeholder process.• Conceptualization and architecture (principal) contributions for scaling and operational readiness.• Continuous problem solving for rapid scaling achievements in association with a strategic partnership.• Empowering and building out a Production Operations team.o SLOs were established, monitored, and achieved with a focus on toil reduction.• Risk Management and ROI analysisI worked with and helped cultivate a versatile, engaged team to foster an ambitious, collaborative, forward-thinking, and fun environment.

My leadership capabilities were assessed, resulting in my promotion to Director of Product Development and Strategy.

I made foundational improvements and additions to the software architecture, processes, tools, and service. I designed and implemented a highly flexible integration service to the automation framework, referenced in my previous role. This integration service eventually replaced nearly all core processes, from Microsoft's BizTalk server, and allowed the organization to pursue new opportunities swiftly.I helped develop and manage third party relationships (i.e. RDX, a remote DBA firm, and STL, a private managed service provider). I frequently explored and collaborated on innovative operations tactics and uses of technology.Additionally, I served as the primary and highly trusted production operations and incident management engineering leader.

My first design project was to develop a new service, absorbing their strong enterprise coding standards.Instead, I designed and developed a reusable automation framework, with the new background service as the first hosted automated process. The Director of Product Development and Strategy called it a "home run" and praised the fast absorption and demonstration of OOP, coding standards, and decoupled unit testing (code coverage). Quickly over time new modular services were added to this framework.

This journey empowered and unleashed my strong creative side. Also, it accentuated my innovative mindset, reinforcing that forging into wildly new concepts is consistently achievable.A few of my largest contributions are the following:• Conceptualized, developed, delivered, and managed a Real-Time EDI application (REDI) for comprehensive eligibility discovery and confirmation. Use grew beyond 100 users and 50K transactions per month, just within UW Health organizations. This started with a simple seed thought from patient accounting leadership.• Developed and utilized a vast network of eligibility verification resources and processes to independently help an affiliated insurance company (Unity) and a healthcare provider (UWHC) verify and merge Epic coverage modules accurately.• Independently developed business process and reporting automations, some of which caught the attention of Epic, a large healthcare technology company.

Here I quickly became a highly trusted handler for priority clients and EDI disputes.Additionally, I began to contribute to new customer implementation tools and processes.A promotion to an implementations management position was discussed just before I left.2/20051 – 3/2006 Home Depot [Franklin, WI]

I was a partner in a business for selling and installing surveillance systems.

Store management asked me to manage, or co-manage, sequentially two of the largest and highest grossing departments, in their prime season. Additionally, I held a role as an advisor to the Regional Manager for Tool Rental. Finally, I conceptualized tool purchase, sale, and exchange guidelines for Tool Rental, with access to corporate data. This project resulted in a letter of recommendation for Law School and acknowledgement that the guidelines might save millions.
