Consulting and leading YMCA communities to help them acheive multi-million dollar capital fund development goals..

Worked to fund and create the first two LEED certified YMCAs in Kansas City. Orchestrated multi-million dollar capital and annual fundraising campaigns in order to help the YMCA continue to serve the Kansas City area and fulfill its mission.

• Led all 17 Centers in the KC area in member retention, total number of members and participants, and annual giving.• Successfully managed budget of more than $2,500,000.• Organized first association program volunteer structure and recruited more than 300 volunteers.

Director of Fitness Directed the Wellness and Fitness Cabinet, representing six branches of the $40 million Capital Area YMCA Association. Developed and presented wellness seminars to educate corporations and organizations in order to improve employee health and to increase the YMCA membership base.  Promoted and developed health & wellness education for 20,000 members at the largest YMCA in the Southeast; Designed programs to help members to improve their spirit, mind, and body.  Managed a $850,000 budget to successfully maintain an 88% member retention rate.  Coached and motivated 140 fitness staff members; Initiated volunteer programs Recruited and trained volunteers for fundraising in the We Build People campaign.
