Seeing the changing market direction of the energy conservation business, in 1986 BlackBerry changed it's business focus to window and fenestration products. Since then BlackBerry has become a premier window and exterior envelope supply and installation business. Serving three distinct market sectors Residential, Commerical, and Historical; we have completed numerous Landmark Historic Preservation Projects. Michael Shields has and extensive background with over 30 years of experience in energy efficent design and construction, and has been a lecturer and featured speaker in many forums. Our Residential Exterior Home Improvement Division has grown to be one of West Michigan largest providers and installers of Windows, Door, Roofing, Siding, Decking, and Sunrooms. Our Certified Factory Installers complete over 500 projects each year in the Kalamazoo, Grand Rapids, Battle Creek, and St. Joseph areas. Our Historic Restoration Division specializes in commercial window restoration, replication and replacement. BlackBerry provides this service throughout the Great Lake and Midwestern State area. We specialize in wood, steel, and aluminum window restoration. Our Commercial Window and Glazing Division has over 30 years of experience serving the Multi-Family, Multi-Use, Hospital, University, and Municipal markets.
