Time to come back to Australia, with Olympics approaching, so I set up Property & Infrastructure arm of our families Medical business Lucretia Services, became a Director & took over all the day to day (painful) accounting administration to cater for GST & digitisation. Successfully took on Site Acquisition in partnership with a mate & his old man, under a contract they purchased. We did very well. They did extremely well. A great experience that set up my future.

International exposures and associated travel were always in DNA so I started my Own business (set up whilst in UK) to provide Property Consultancy services to large UK prortfolios and institutions including London Transport, Safeways Plc and Local Government Authorities. Did the job of exposure to largest and oldest documented property portfolios on the globe as centred out of the British Empire and across Continental Europe.

At the time, to a sports mad Aussie, who wouldn’t want to work on “the greatest games ever delivered”. Competitive yes, but not a competitor. Working in the Venue & Precinct Operations and Human Resources (staff) Team, my role was to negotiate property occupation terms acoss venues and precints on behalf of the the Sydney Olympic Orgainisng Committee for the 2000 Olympic Games (SOCOG). Compile operational property budgets for property operations and venues, including SOCOG head quarters and the international broadcast centre. All the big tickets & those that contributed to best ever of its day.
