I practiced with WilmerHale's Litigation/Controversy Group and was based in the firm's New York and Boston offices. My practice focused on the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and securities class action litigation. While at WilmerHale, I defended an underwriting syndicate comprised of more than a dozen global financial institutions and regional investment banks against a class action brought under Section 11 of the Securities Act of 1933. I also represented clients in connection with white collar and corporate compliance issues, particularly with respect to the FCPA and related foreign statutes. I assisted numerous companies in defending against DOJ and SEC investigations and conducting confidential internal investigations and risk assessments involving conduct in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Central and South America.
