To all intents and purposes retired although continue to be retained by KPMG UK in a limited capacity to assist on PII related matters.

Transferred to Practice Protection Department in London in July 1992 to take on a global Professional Indemnity Insurance role.

Joined Maidstone office as qualified audit senior shortly after the office opened in September 1982. Promoted to department senior manager in July 1989. Responsible for provision of audit, corporate tax and advisory services to a wide range of clients ranging from owner managed businesses to public listed companies.

Completed training as an accountant with EY, qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in April 1982.

Articled to Baker Sutton & Co as a student accountant gaining experience of the London insurance market.
