Electrical commissioning and setting to work Hvac systems from start to finish including fault finding, testing of fans, atus, heaters, dampers, sensors, control panels.

Tasked with routine and non routine heavy maintenance tasks. Work on pre planned Airbus checks with experience in engines, gears, wings, holds, cabin, avionics, tail, centre fuselage. Currently working towards licensing modules.

Electrical supervisor in charge of up to 30 men daily. Responsible for meeting targets, Health and Safety of squad, organising training, disciplining where necessary, running of area, delegating tasks, feeding back to higher management.• Managing costs, procurement, hiring new employees, mentoring apprentices.• Actively review and contribute to all planning activities, over various time frames, in relation to own area of work, including rework.• Accurately report actual progress against all plans, recording project charges or hours to the appropriate systems and constantly pursued the policy of right first time.• Take actions to ensure quality standards of own and others work are met.• Establish best practice across all projects, and ensuring lessons identified become standard practice.• Quality and HS&E Management Systems, specifically the processes and documentation, training & risk assessments associated.• Quality Management System and HS&E documentation to my team ensuring they have both a thorough understanding of the content, risks and control measures and can ultimately demonstrate their competence to apply them. • Input knowledge and experience to the safety department in assistance with the risk assessment generation / amendment process.• Responsible for the management and development of people, processes and systems to achieve and exceed performance targets.• Ensure that the factors of cost, schedule, quality, and H&S are managed effectively whilst maintaining sound inter and cross functional relationships.

Responsibilities include working as part of a team, effective communication within squad and to line manager, completing jobs in accordance with company spec and as time efficiently as possible. Completed modern apprenticeship through BAE Systems studying for many years at college to gain qualifications. Experience in maintenance, emergency lighting and fire alarms systems. Gained a national certificate in electrical engineering. Identified by many as keen, hard-working, and exceptionally skilled. Worked alongside partner companies such as Rolls Royce, Balfour Beatty, Ticon, CBL, Babcock, SSSL, connecting switchboards from start of circuit to end of line, earthing, hilti systems, distribution panels, diesel generators and also worked maintenance for machinery. Handed further responsibilities such as marking off, computer work, delegation, supporting supervisor to meet key targets, procuring gear and material for jobs, dealing with safety issues, attending electrical meetings to provide feedback, and many other new challenges.

Had to ensure the smooth running of several very busy function halls and solve problems when they arose. Had several members of staff reporting to myself requiring me to delegate jobs, keep up morale, discipline where necessary.
