The most challenging and rewarding experience beyond parenthood. I was assigned to teach the History of Western Civilization I two years ago with two weeks before class started. With little warning and a general description of my class, I went about creating a syllabus from old classes I took at Rutgers. It was a journey of fits and starts, I learned a lot about myself and my abilities teaching to a diverse group of students. This past fall I took the lessons I learned and implemented some changes to my style and direction of class which led to better results. I taught two classes, Western Civ I and American History until 1865. The greatest compliments I got were when my students said things like, "Are you teaching another class next semester because I want to take another class with you" and "I hated history before this class, you make it so fun and interesting." Those are the things that make the long nights prepping and grading worth it. Every semester things are a little different. One of my favorite things about teaching is the broad diversity of the students. I've found that I learn so much from them. Recently, we've been given the task of converting our classes over to a remote live format by using the Canvas learning management system. Again, another challenge but one that has been fun to overcome.

Streamlined, simplified, and improved inventory processes for over $400,000 of automobile parts.Created reports and collaborated with upper management on a variety of inventory issues in order to effectively deal with discrepancies such as overstock and obsolete parts.Established protocols to keep obsolescence percentage below mandated 7%, culminating in an average of over $4000/month in gross profit.Continuously monitored cycle counts and oversaw annual physical inventory.Created a wholesale return policy leading to maintained profits and customer satisfaction, while also meeting management's expectations.Supervised, trained, and motivated a diverse team of employees to better serve the dealership and its customers.
