Leveraged data for thirteen stores to make informed decisions on Shrink reduction, Safety/Security, Cash loss and Inventory control.I was the APP for thirteen stores in the Oklahoma City Metro.I had to make at least two visits in each store every month, also visiting two stores outside my cluster. I was in charge of writing my own schedule and sending it out in advance to the stores I would be visiting. Updating it regularly to reflect hours worked and at which locations. I had to perform a BASIC walk in each store every month, which involved me reviewing for:Bag checks: Stores were required to check all employee bags before they left.Checking to see if the store has reviewed and worked their Asset Protection Dashboard in the previous 7 days. Walking the sales floor, stockroom and coolers to ensure there are no tripping hazards for employees or customers and coaching team members on how to keep the store a safe work environment.Inventory control, which involved me checking on hands for the companies most stolen brands, looking at the state of the stockroom and back stock to determine if the store is following proper procedures to ensure they are not receiving too much product.Reviewing cash handling for the store by checking the stores cash discrepancies and seeing if they balance with what the bank is reporting. Discussing with the manager the discrepancies and what actions were taken to correct procedures in the cash handling process that led to the discrepancies.Other duties:Review Asset Protection dashboard regularly for each store to evaluate what departments or items might need to be protected. If time was available I would install the windows when they arrived as well.I also helped train new employees in proper counting and scan out procedures to ensure Shrink was not increasing due to bad processes. Communicate problems I am seeing within a store to the DM, CCing my boss, the Asset Protection Manager on al communications to the stores and DMs.
