Uss Ardent (Mcm 12)

Responsible for the coordination of all facets of maintenance and material management systems. I maintain the ship's maintenance data system, prepare maintenance documents and schedules, manage inspections and assessments, manage maintenance reports and coordinate maintenance training. I am also responsible for the ship's maintenance availabilities, where extensive maintenance is typically performed (shipyards). This position has been extremely rewarding.

Greater San Diego Area

Performed explosive safety training and inspections to US Navy warships. Position required extensive travel, domestic and international. This position dealt directly with performing inspections, providing a detailed report of discrepancies, providing training to assist in the correction of discrepancies and following up on the corrections of found discrepancies. I was extremely satisfied in this position.

Uss Rentz (Ffg 46)

Responsible for the training and development of weapons system technicians in the maintenance, upkeep and employment of weapons. Also served as the command Drug & Alcohol Program Advisor where I was responsible for the training of 180 personnel as it pertained to drug and alcohol abuse prevention.

Center For Surface Combat Systems, San Diego

Responsible for the development of the Navy's future Sailors as it pertained to the operation, maintenance and employment fundamentals of our warship weapons systems. Maintained seven courses of instruction and developed and piloted the Navy's inaugural course of instruction for the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense GPS Integration System. Maintained 21 test banks and two web-based courses of instruction.
