SOUNDPRO was the one of the most respected AUDIO VIDEO CUSTOM RETAILERS in the state of Indiana for most of that time. We developed the first Infra-Red Repeater, became the first importer to the U.S. of Audio Technica, designed the first ever Phono Cartridge Calibration Tester, introduced the first CD Player to Indiana, introduced the Compact Digital Cassette to the Midwest, developed the first sound-level compensated Speaker Selector in the Midwest and have many other firsts. I sold SoundPro in July of 2000 after running it for 38 years. Unfortunately, the new owners could not keep it going more than two years thereafter.
