Squad leader assigned to a forward deployed Air Assault Infantry Rifle Company executing combat operations; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of all squad equipment valued in excess of $250,000.00 dollars; responsible for the health, welfare, morale and professional development of two junior sergeants and six soldiers; assists the platoon leader in planning and preparing for combat missions.Air Operations NCO for a 670 man rapid deployment Air Assault Infantry Battalion. Responsible for the planning and coordination of the strategic and tactical air, rail, convoy and water transportation. Trains company unit movement NCOs in deploying, planning and execution of all movements. Plans and coordinates all aspects of aviation.Small Group Leader at the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course: teaches and evaluates the entire Program of Instructions consisting of over 332 hours; provides for the health, welfare and quality of life for 12 to 16 soldiers throughout the seven week course; serves as mentor, counselor and role model; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of over $50,000 worth of weapons, training aids, devices, classroom materials and real property.
