Manage and administer daily operations of Fare Systems Special Programs. Currently performing the role of Manager II, Fare Systems Programs. Manage five direct reports by providing direction and monitoring work assignments. Manage multiple projects from development to implementation stage and ensure that CTA’s fare systems contractor meets or exceeds deadlines and requirements. Collaborate with CTA’s fare systems vendor on a regular basis to develop working documents for new projects and CTA’s system requirements and functionality. Work closely with CTA’s vendor, Cubic Transportation Systems, relative to Ventra Special Fare Programs to ensure compliance to contractual terms and customer needs. Perform revenue forecasting and analysis to make recommendations to management to maximize revenue. Constantly analyze fare systems programs and procedures for better and more efficient ways of distributing and loading fare media for special fare programs with concentration on revenue maximization and expense reduction. Negotiated intergovernmental agreements with RTA and CPS. Coordinate fraud mitigation and card confiscation efforts for free ride programs with CTA’s Internal Audit, Security and Operations departments. Oversee and monitor performance of Ventra Transit Benefits program which includes revenue monitoring and budgeting. Manage CTA’s U-Pass program and implemented new online system used by schools to track students and administer the program. Participated in the creation of the Ventra Transit Benefits website and provide ongoing support and program administration. Developed current procedures related to Ventra Group Sales for sister agencies. Managed decommissioning of legacy fare media encoding and distribution operations.
