This multi-functional and dynamic role supports MEDHOST clients through the continuum of Meaningful Use Attestation. The position was created and developed to provide resource and technical support pertaining to compliance related questions or concerns. Serve as an internal company resource and appointed member of the MEDHOST Meaningful Use Committee and Task Force. Responsibilities of this committee include Six Sigma and Agile process mapping, development of educational criteria and education of approximately 100 employees. Experience ranges from working closely with Product Developers in EHR and Meaningful Use design. Developed internal technical support processes increasing customer satisfaction and measureable outcomes.

Provided support to greater than 600 MEDHOST facilities. Responsibilities included front line analyst support calls focusing upon clinical applications. Role included daily oversight of 10-15 front line Analysts assisting with software issue resolution and training. Responsible for clinical support training, including but not limited to, Pharmacy and eMar applications. Served as internal resource for technical issue escalation to internal development teams. Partnered with MEDHOST programmers to resolve critical and time-sensitive issues affecting patient care. Successfully managed customer assignment/workload throughout the issue resolution cycle with high customer satisfaction ratings.

Position required coordination, supervision and process design related to medication and supply delivery within Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Units and the organization’s Level One Trauma Center. Prepared routine and stat intravenous medications managing 12 different medical, pediatric and surgical units. Responsible for quality assurance related to nosocomial infection reduction and sterile field mainanance. Provided annual competency testing, responsible for education, evaluation and tracking. Clinical responsibilities included daily rounds on various nursing units monitoring continual IV drips and medications needs. Trained new hires on Satellite pharmacy process, work flow and procedures. Created and managed Satellite pharmacy employee work schedules and assignments.
