- Evaluate and determine credit risks through detailed financial statement analysis, collateral valuation, cash flow and ability to pay analysis- Review relationships from $10MM and up to determine credit-worthiness with overall risk rating- Assist Commercial Relationship Managers in the structure of loan requests, where appropriate, to include suggestions on terms, conditions, collateral and guarantors- Prepare credit analyses for use by lending officers in the making of lending decisions on new credit approvals and renewals

-Responsible for assisting the Branch Manager in administering and directing employee coaching, sales development, marketing, and operations of the branch-Achieve personal sales goals, identify financial needs and present all appropriate options working cooperatively with appropriate business partners-Ensure a consistent, high level of service and serve as a role model on the "M&T Way"-Ensure compliance with operational, security and control policies/procedures, preventing fraud and protecting customer assets-Positively demonstrate leadership and teamwork by proactively assisting other branch colleagues when needed as well as actively participating and contributing during Branch Team meetings

- Completed a 12-month corporate training program focused around managerial skills and development- Attended corporate and job specific training within each division of the bank (Marketing, Finance, Branch Banking, Operations, Human Resources)- Received continuous exposure to senior executives to cultivate expertise in making key business decisions
