Before switching to a career in law, I worked for over 10 years in various positions in the healthcare and public safety fields, including as a firefighter/paramedic, critical care flight paramedic, and EMS Instructor, as well as a medical technologist working in a clinical toxicology lab, utilizing liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry analysis for confirmation of samples. I have experience in critical care medicine, education, public safety, research, and governmental regulation.
