Troops Into Transportation works very closely with our partner carrier companies to make sure that our students are pre-hired and have as much insight as possible before they start our program. All before they take the Uniform off and trade for Civilian attire. Head Quarters Department of the Army (HQDA) has transformed how Soldiers will transition from Military Service to the Civilian sector. This transformation will give separating Soldiers the greatest opportunity for a successful post-service career. A Soldier is eligible for transition assistance services after completing 180 continuous days or more of active duty under Title 10, United States. Army uses Soldier for Life Transition Assistance Program (SFL-TAP) and unit Focal Point Advisors to ensure transitioning Soldiers are prepared for employment, education, and other post-service opportunities and benefits. Focal Point Advisors are responsible for identifying and tracking Soldier’s transition progress readiness NLT 180 days from ETS or separation.As a Transition Career Skill Specialist Blue print and Prescreen Soldiers from a Human Resource / Recruiting perspective to Assist Soldier to Transition into employment rather the Unemployment line, provide information about the Career Skill Programs, and help with vetting requirements- application process until all requirements are met. Programs Such as Ryder Diesel Technician, United Veterans in Piping (UAVIP), Fanuc Robotics, and Troops Into Transportation.
