• Plan and carry out the assigned duties professionally and safely, and in accordance with procedures and valid regulations.• Identify and control potential risk in all phases of the drilling and well operations and report to the OIM and implement corrective measurements.• Responsible for all equipment and systems within area of responsibility are operated within design & operation criteria, and maintained in accordance with procedures• Perform assigned duties as specified in Installation Security Plan, Emergency Response Plan, and in accordance to local and international requirements.• Responsible for ensuring that the Management System is implemented, and that procedures and instructions are followed.• Responsible for all drilling and well operations are safely planned and performed in accordance with approved programs and procedures.• Responsible for record keeping in relevant reporting systems.• Responsible in all drilling areas regarding ongoing work.• Maintain high housekeeping standards in all drilling areas thus ensuring a safe working environment.• Supervise, support and develop personnel.• Verify and ensure that everyone in the department has the necessary knowledge and experience to be able to perform the assigned duties in a professional and safe manner, also responsible for general safety training within his/her area of responsibility.• Maintain good communication and co-operations between all departments, and with customer.• Verify that personnel follow the procedures and update the procedures when necessary.• Participate in preparation and improvement of Operation Procedures

• Participate in preparation and improvement of Operation Safety Procedures.• Provide equipment maintenance and continuous monitoring of H2S systems in a hazardous environment. • Training site personnel and ensuring all personnel have proper certifications to access location.• Check all equipment certification and inspection during rig move operations.• Perform pre-spud, post Rig up, environmental critical equipment audits.• Check all equipment certification and inspection during daily drilling operations and services provided by third parties.• Conduct daily crew pre and post tour safety meetings.• Assist and gather information during all incident investigations’, and location containment.• Site Orientation for all personnel arriving.• R/U and monitor Cascade systems due H2S events.
