I have 15+ years experience building APIs, Social Networks, Backend services, Client Websites and custom User Interfaces. Along this journey I have had the pleasure of contributing, mentoring, and leading small teams through all the phases of project development. I strive to maintain an optimistic outlook and prefer to look for innovative solutions where the opportunity permits.To stay sharp and on the cutting edge with the fast changing nature of the Web, I find enjoyment in learning new languages, frameworks, database technologies, and reading about the latest happenings and innovations occurring everyday. I believe no one solution fits all projects at any given moment. Each project deserves an honest look at its unique requirements before deciding which technologies will best meet those requirements. At the same time however, patterns will emerge across projects that make good use cases for custom CLIs and scripts to automate those patterns -- freeing teams to be more productive.My languages and skillsets are diverse and enable me to tackle a wide range of tech challenges, from frontend to backend, with creativity and expertise.
