  Weisner Real Estate, Inc. is a company rich in Eastern Shore history. Originally from Montana, Raymond A. Weisner moved to Salisbury and established Deer's Head Realty Corporation in 1938, and later a real estate brokerage business, known as Raymond A Weisner & Associates. Vic Stephens became a partner in the brokerage business in the 1960's, and the name of the company was changed to Stephens-Weisner Real Estate. When Raymond passed away in 1971, Vic took over full control of both companies until Raymond's grandson Michael Weisner moved to Salisbury in 1974 and took over management of Deer's Head Realty Corp. In 1980, Mike received his brokerage license and opened his own real estate brokerage company, which managed commercial and residential properties. In 1994, the company became Weisner Real Estate, Inc. a full service brokerage company. Michael is the President of the company, and has extensive experience in commercial and investment real estate. Having called Salisbury home for over 40 years, he takes a personal interest in the City and is involved in numerous community organizations. He is a past president and treasurer for Salisbury Area Property Owners Association; past president of the Coastal Association of Realtors and a Realtor of the Year; former Executive Officer of the Parish Council member of St Francis de Sales Church and current Chair of the Finance Council; Past Exalted Ruler, as well as serving several terms as both a Treasurer and a Trustee of Salisbury Elks Lodge 817; former President of Eastern Shore Hospice Foundation at Deers Head Center. Mike has also served several terms as a Director for the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, as well as serving on the Board of Trustees for the Wicomico County Library. He was an elected member of the Wicomico County Democratic State Central Committee where he served two years as Chairman. Libby Weisner is Mike's daughter and the current Property Manager for Weisner Real Estate, Inc.
