About Michael Wellner

1982- 2000 Director Unified Emergency Medical Services a Paramedic Level Ambulance Service owned by Holy Family Memorial Medical Center. Started wheelchair transportation service in Manitowoc County for the disabled. Established network answering service for network clinics and hospital departments. During that time established Paramedic level training center with local technical college. Developed “Home Safety” booklet and program which won an Amby Award from the American Ambulance Association in 1997.2000- 2014 Director Cardiovascular Services including Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab, Pacemaker Clinic and Heart and Vascular Center. For a period of time also managed network surgical clinic, surgeons, Infectious Disease Clinic and Travel Medicine program.-Oversaw and coordinated construction and startup of Cardiac Catheterization Lab which opened in September of 2000.-Featured on the cover and interviewed in the May 2002 Issue of Cath Lab Digest.
