I am part of the ITA program at Aflac where I work in the Digital Command Center. I work on both the Problem Management and Major Incident Management teams where I orchestrate and assist in troubleshooting any Major Incident that may occur. I then follow that Major Incident to Problem Management where I communicate and assist application owners in gaining information as to the root cause of that Major Incident. I have help build the Problem Management Process over the past two years assisting with creating process documents as well as implementing the use of industry standard techniques.

I was part of a research team that is developing a method for detecting Steppingstone Intrusions. I was responsible for collecting packets from different size connection chains and developing programs to sort and find the difference in the Round-Trip Times. I am also one of the authors for the paper “Effective Algorithms to Detect Stepping-Stone Intrusion by Removing Outliers of Packet RTT’s”.
