At Lily Medical Group, the MA’s are an essential part of making everything work smoothly between the providers, patients, and anyone else involved in their care. My responsibilities include creating new patient charts (requesting additional documentation if needed), using EPIC to gather patient information, creating and sending provider orders, relaying messages between providers and outside personnel by phone/email/fax/patient portal, refilling prescriptions, and creating patient rosters.Since the start of my employment with Lily Medical Group, I have been awarded Employee of the Month four separate times!

DispatchHealth is an in-home Urgent Care. My responsibilities included taking vitals (some manual), IV insertion, blood draws, collecting samples for lab work, and lab testing by ISTAT. Additional responsibilities included checking temperature logs, gathering supplies and making sure all is properly stocked, inputting patient information into our Dashboard, driving to/from the patient’s home, and helping to ensure all appointments go as smoothly as possible. Reason for leaving: Market location was shut down and all employees were laid off.

Correctional Officers are responsible for ensuring the security, custody, control, and treatment of inmates in DOC facilities. As a Correctional Officer, I directed and monitored inmates, and conducted personal searches to ensure the safety of the Institution. Additionally, i transported inmates to and from facilities, or other appointments such as court and the hospital. Training for this position consisted of a 240-hour Academy, which included firearms training, OC/pepper spray and tear gas resistance training, and restraints training

Berkeley County EMS is a 911-service that operates closely with surrounding fire departments and the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office. As a Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician, my typical day included being one of the first people to be on scene of an emergency. My duties during a typical call involved assessing the nature and extent of a patient's illness or injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures to be followed. Part of this meant I would administer initial treatment and record the patient's vital signs. When transporting a patient, I monitored vital signs and treated accordingly, and gave an in-coming report to the hospital over the radio. Transfer of care is given upon arrival to the hospital, where I gave a report to the receiving physician. Other duties of this job included keeping everyone's medical information secure according to HIPAA, keeping the ambulance and station/equipment clean, restocking/ordering any supplies used. Shifts were based on a 24/48 schedule, with one scheduled recall shift per two weeks 48/24 shift). Reason for leaving: Moved out of state.

For this project, our clients were Philip Morris USA and Altria, and I assisted in the education and promotion of the new IQOS Tobacco Heating System (an alternative to cigarettes). I went through extensive training to become knowledgeable in the operation and history of IQOS. Most of my days involved interacting with adult tobacco consumers, discovering their needs, and exploring ways IQOS could benefit them in their daily lifestyle. This also included providing product trials to adult tobacco consumers, providing device use and care information, assisting them through the final sale, and answering any questions. This was a temporary contract position and ended in December 2021.

My duties included preparing the produce area before store opening and stocking throughout the day, continuously roaming the floors to be available for customers if needed, putting away the truck, and cleaning the work spaces.

Central Wisconsin Center is an acute long-term care facility that provides specialized care for people who were born with or who developed severe disabilities at a young age.Responsibilities included: Grooming, bathing, assisting with toileting, colostomy care, dressing, assisting with ambulation, cleaning residents’ rooms, laundry, preparing meals and assisting with feeding, catheter care, tracheotomy care, positioning every two hours, the use of ARJO lifts, and charting resident information throughout the day. Reason for leaving: Moved out of state.

At Kwik Trip, every employee is trained to work all around the store to ensure that help is available when needed. My responsibilities included being aware of any guests that entered the store and seeing that their needs were properly met, running registers, answering phone calls made by guests or our Communications Center, helping in the kitchen (bakery, dishes, hot food items, etc.), problem solving with co-workers and/or guests, being aware of and knowing what to do in dangerous situations, cash handling (store safe and registers), and making sure every guest left satisfied.
