As an account manager, I maintain relationships and act as liaison between corporate partners and members of the Schey Sales Centre. Additionally, I actively participate in the execution of semesterly career fairs for the organization and conduct interviews for potential Schey candidates with the intention of selecting the most qualified students. Through my account manager training I received certification in Hubspot software skills in order to communicate more efficiently with partners.

During my internship at Meijer I had the opportunity to tackle the challenge of adding a second seasonal run into our Hard Home department. I designed a cadence of themes for a potential second run and came up with the potential profitability of implementing it ultimately presenting my finished product to our Executive Merchandising Team. I worked with Business Analysts, Associate Buyers, Buyers, and GVP's to compile information and generate the most well rounded report possible. I took advantage of my time with the company and set up meetings to shadow full-time employees and learn from people at various levels throughout the company, including our CEO. The lessons and skills I have gained from this experience are ones that I will take with me throughout the rest of my career and life.

In this role I run the group's Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter accounts to update the public on upcoming events and group information. I also work to keep our group’s website and YouTube page updated to maintain relevant content for our followers. In an effort to re-brand the group I worked with a hand-picked committee to form a stronger presence on campus.

As a Home Intern, I worked to renew home warranty packages of customers daily, resulting in just under $40K in personally-generated earnings for the company. Additionally, I hand-wrote and mailed out 182 thank you letters to every customer that renewed to ensure positive customer relationships. At the close of the internship I worked with a team to create and pitch ideas on how we could improve Social Care at IGS to make real changes to company policies. Finally, I was able to finish as the top performer in my intern class with 182 home warranty sales by the end of the program.

This was a product of serving quality food to hundreds of customers each day and contributing to the improvement of ratings and safety in the restaurant. As Take-Out Specialist, I prepared catering orders for events around campus and performed customer follow ups to improve customer service.
