As a key member of the LM IS&GS-Defense, LM Enterprise IT Systems (EITS) corporate Advanced Technology Group (ATG) responsible for program technical execution oversight, problem resolution, improvement, best practice alignment, technology strategy as well as new business identification and capture. Other activities include establishment of working relationships with strategic partner companies, converging program technology roadmaps, aligning R&D activities with technology roadmaps, developed LM EITS technical capability catalog and new market pursuits and reviewing program milestones.• Developed corporate strategy for Cloud and Data Center Consolidation as part of LM’s Data Center and Consolidation (DCC) Practice• Led a strong team and the Architecture, Engineering and Implementation of the Private Enterprise Cloud for a major customer• Led and supported numerous new business activities • Authored the “SOA Rule Book”• Supported a major program leading their Storage Consolidation and Virtualization Project• Led the a major customer's Virtualization Rationalization project where many VMs were collapsed into few resulting in significant operating cost savings. Responsible for technical strategy and execution within the innovative ~$300M+ annual, LM Enterprise IT Systems (EITS) – Enterprise and Logistics Systems (E&LS) business providing innovative solutions to customers with complex, global, mission-focused system needs within a technical organization consisting of over 800 personnel. Key focus areas: Cloud, SOA, Enterprise IT Infrastructure, Consolidation. • Key Leader that developed the LM IS&GS Defense corporate strategy to address the multi-billion dollar Cloud and SOA markets. • Established the Business Technical Vision and Strategic Plan. Identified strategic RFPs and RFIs for the business to respond to. Identified high return on investment and valuable corporate investment and Research and Development projects aligned with business strategy. Participated in Business Development and Capture Management activities for these markets.• Identified and led a series of critical system engineering efforts that returned a complex, highly-visible, severely distressed program to green and achieved customer acceptance and high satisfaction as well as positioned our business for tremendous growth on a major program• Architected and oversaw implementation of an enterprise class, business process-driven, state of the art Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) that enabled interoperability between 35 legacy and 12 modernized systems saving over $11M annually for a major program • Led the development of the technical strategy to address a new multi-billion dollar Enterprise IT market within a large federal department. Directed senior technical personnel and ~225 indirect reports on LM’s flagship Private Cloud $2 Billion+ program.• Developed and oversaw architecture and implementation of a major Cloud and Portal program, a mission critical, 99.99% uptime, nearly 1M user, award-winning system that implements a major system consolidation strategy. This was accomplished by providing a common platform and design patterns enabling a ”plug and play” application development and deployment process. This virtualized, private Cloud SOA system has served over 10 billion dynamic customized mission Web pages since going live in 2003.• Chief Architect for a team that produced, released, deployed and maintained over 450 spiral Cloud and SOA system and software releases/year. • Achieved measurable ROI >$500M/annual recurring savings.
