About Michael Baskin

My career has focused on one passion, finding new ways to build strong, enduring brands. It continues to be a fascinating journey into the nooks and crannies of human psychology, social science, cultural anthropology, ethnographic research, design thinking and brand strategy. In today’s incredibly competitive environment, I believe the intersection of brand promise and brand experience remains the only reliable way to develop a true sustainable competitive advantage. Over the years I have successfully collaborated with clients in a wide variety of categories to create and continually innovate the promise a brand makes and the experiences that brings it to life. Those collaborations have resulted in creating new brand value that customers willingly pay for and then evangelize with their friends, family and acquaintances.My desire to continually reimagine brand building frameworks and methodologies for uncovering what consumers find most meaningful has resulted in the development of a unique skill set that includes deep expertise in applying a design thinking methodology to the development of brand promises and experiences.
