I have had the opportunity to gain valuable experience through my external rotations at Rideout Hospital, Sutter Roseville and UC Davis Medical Center. My Rotations have allowed me to practice skills such as Ventilator management and set up, administering medications through nebulizers and MDI, bronchopulmonary hygiene therapies, oxygen therapy, airway clearance techniques, hyperinflation therapy, tracheotomy site care, ABG draws and analysis, proper hygiene techniques, diagnostic analysis of EKG and chest X-ray. I have worked with patients in NICU and PICU as well as in the adult and geriatric population. My immediate goal is to find a facility that is willing to take me on as a dedicated and passionate employee. I plan on honing my skills and learning from new experiences in order to expand my knowledge and become a great RT.
