I've always loved to hate things, anything that gave me problems I disliked so much. I would spend hours trying to figure things out, but then only later did I realized that I don't hate difficult things, I just enjoy a challenge. I naturally gravitated towards programming as a young teenager in high school. It was always something that was amazed me, from how simple lines of code could create so many different Operating systems, applications, and even something such as a video game. To me, programming is an art, and it requires discipline and various skill sets in order to create something somewhat similar to a drawing.During my time in school, I learned not to stand to close to an elephant. That was some of the best advice I received, it helped me become a more well rounded logical thinker that I am today. I started just like everyone else, from not understanding programming to absolutely falling for it. I learned various languages from C#,Javascript, C++, and Python. Each one of them providing their own share of problems and specific syntax special to their respective language. I learned how to plan projects, work with groups, take lead of projects, and how to organize code efficiently. For me the one thing that always keeps me coming back to programming is the sense of accomplishment. For me, figuring out something that stumps you for hours on end are the moments I appreciate, because I know that I can always work hard and figure things out. My goal is to grow until I can reach a senior role, and help my fellow peers. I'm not exactly sure on the route I will take from there but I would love to get the opportunity to help younger teens develop and find their passion like I found mine.
