Senior Coordinator, Shelter Partnerships
Current• Develop key relationships with government agencies and stakeholders in the state of Utah, providing strategic guidance and expert knowledge and training for animal control agencies, for this national leader in the animal welfare sector.• Conduct animal shelter assessments and train staff on best industry practices at dozens of agencies.• Manage regional transport and relocation programs, using targeted data to support national lifesaving goals. Grow regional network of shelter and rescue partners by 20% over 5 years.• Recruit veterinary partners to expand low-cost medical support program, increasing participation by 25% across the state of Utah over 1 year.• Manage multiple community-based programs, serving several hundred individuals each month.• Create onboarding plans and train new staff in organizations’ procedures and operations. Present quarterly updates on regional goals to multiple departments and senior leadership.• Collect and utilize monthly metrics to inform daily work for over 60 animal shelters. Complete administrative duties and data tracking across multiple platforms to support and inform lifesaving and strategic goals.• Assist in creation of emergency and evacuation plans for National Disaster Response team. Contribute expertise to the creation of new standard operating procedure documents.
