I have dedicated my career to serving others through nonprofit work encompassing the technical, pedagogical, and visual art forms. As COO of freeCodeCamp.org, we grew a community of dozens to one of millions globally as they learned to code full stack JavaScript. I led as project manager thirty times over as students contributed code to nonprofits around the world. As a photographer, I have produced visual assets to drive donations for nonprofits including World Central Kitchen and other food centric organizations more locally. I have built a community and festival for photographers to come together and learn from each other's work. I have judged grant applications for several years on behalf of the DC Commission on the Arts & Humanities.My biggest passion is amplifying the voices, structures and systems that make the world a better place.
