As an experienced estate planner, I am a member of the Editorial Boards of Estate Planning Magazine and The Journal of Taxation, and have written numerous articles for both publications as well as the Journal of the Missouri Bar among other tax and professional journals. I'm also a member of the Advisory Board of Tax Management Estates, Gifts and Trusts Journal. I frequently lecture on tax and estate planning subjects, and have spoken at tax institutes and seminars across the country. I am also a principal originator of the sale to defective trust for an installment note technique, an estate planning strategy which is now widely used by estate planners nationally. In my practice at Lewis Rice, I serve as Co-Chair of the Estate Planning Department. Prior to joining the Firm, I served as a law clerk to Hon. William H.
