The goal to reduce gage R&R and part measuring time was achieved within 60 days of installation.

• Manager of Physical testing laboratory and a 9 employee Quality Department for a rubber manufacturing plant with over 60 million dollars in annual sales including budgeting, staffing, scheduling and overtime control.• Lead customer liaison for multiple Ford, GM and Chrysler assembly plants.• Management Representative for TS16949 and Ford Q1 certified quality system.• Responsibilities included supplier management, specification development and shop-floor SPC training.

Developed and maintained calibration systems for 500+ gages to comply with ISO9001/TS 16949 standards • Managed a departmental budget of over $450,000. This includes staffing, overtime controls and scheduling for 7 full time technicians and engineers as well as multiple temporary employees. • Controlled installation of a new 15 station SPC system in an active production department.
