Nulu supplements English and Spanish language learning by providing interesting and engaging news content. Here I led the program's content creation. My main task was choosing news stories and interpolating them into compelling language learning lessons. I also edited a team of writers, managed a team of voice artists, produced audio, and wrangled our social media outreach. I also held the distinction of being "the Voice of Nulu," and anyone learning English did so listening to my soothing baritone timbre!

Japan

Of the many other cruise ship contracts in my history, I must include this only because of the location. The Asuka II is a Japanese cruise ship that spends much of her time sailing around Japan. While I wore just as many sequins as previous contracts, the people and culture I was introduced to were endearing, fascinating, and memorable. Plus, I can now sing "Silent Night" in Japanese.

The World

Sweating over a hot microphone traversing vast bodies of water has given me a worldly point of view you can’t learn from a book. By chasing my dream I stepped foot on six continents while entertaining hundreds of thousands of people along the way. Side benefits: I am culturally aware, socially adept, and have no problem wearing sequins.
