I oversaw Allied World's multi-line Construction Vertical. Additionally, I led and managed Allied World's Global Onshore Construction business, as well as our non-North American Property and Marine lines of business. Allied World's highly recognized and respected risk engineering team will now be an integral part of our first-party offering, helping to drive further growth and profitability across the existing technical underwriting strengths of these teams.

I was responsible for the strategic leadership of the Global Markets insurance operations in Asia-Pacific. I oversaw the implementation of the region's strategic plan and charged with the oversight of the company's direct insurance offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia post the Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) acquisition.

Focused on international growth and expansion of the Technical Risks group, including Onshore/Offshore Energy and Technical Risks, Construction and Property. Additionally responsible for the Inland Marine group in the US under the Starr Specialty Lines agency.2006-2009: Created and developed first-party underwriting platforms and treaty protection for International Onshore Energy and Technical Risks, Global Construction, Global Exploration & Production and International General Property. Built a profitable underwriting portfolio across offices in London, Hong Kong and Houston.

Oversaw strategic agency operations for Asia/Asia-Pacific region, including Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Australia and Singapore. Managed all lines of business written into Lloyd's Asia and Starr's Hong Kong insurance company. Established Starr's Singapore insurance company.

Led and managed the specialty casualty insurance agency in generating growth in profitable underwriting results and agency income. Underwriting team focused on United States primary and excess casualty business in Public Entity, Residential and Commercial Construction and Specialty Lines. Twenty-five underwriters generated nearly $300 million in gross premium written across seven offices.

Coordinated, produced and serviced large Energy and Energy related business across Europe for the Marine, Energy and Power teams. Assisted in the production of large Energy business for the Benfield offices in the United States, Singapore and Australia.

Managed ten Energy/Technical Risks teams across a thirteen country region with gross written premium of $500 million. Developed long- and short-term strategies for growth and segmentation to profitably navigate market cycles.
