Michael Garcia, Assoc. AIA, joined LS3P in 2015 as an Architectural Designer and continues to work across different offices and collaborate with multiple groups and project sectors. With a background in architecture and urban design, Michael has an unwavering commitment to great design as a catalyst for systemic evolution of our built environment. Michael has long been passionate in combining disciplines as a means of developing more synthesized solutions to opportunities for redevelopment in the built environment. An advocate for equitable design and practices, Michael has a wide range of experience in design, project management, community engagement and developing strong personal relationships with clients and stakeholders alike, with a strong focus in multifamily design, historic preservation, hospitality, and urban infill development.Michael has participated in design teams in work involving affordable housing, community planning and design, civic and public space design, and comprehensive planning. Michael also has an extensive background in Hospitality, Multifamily, Municipal Planning and Educational Work. Michael is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and has competed in several international design competitions, placing 5th in the Arquine No.16 – Threshold of the Americas in 2014.
